If the Wolves are at all fearful that he'll make a stink, they need to act on it and get rid of him ASAP, in such a way that it catches the rest of the basketball world by surprise. Don't allow his value to tumble like it will if this turns into a public debacle.

If they offer him up to someone though they'll know right then what's up.

Not to mention the league seems to be full of loud mouths these days, so you're taking a real chance on hoping it doesn't go public.

Yea I know about that, and honestly I can't blame him. I don't recall him ever saying he wanted to leave though. I don't recall Love ever actually insulting his teammates through the media, although I did hear about the comments he made about his GM.

And in Love's recent saying about his team, Howard has definitely said much worse things. The worst thing I can recall Love saying is that "it's not like I had much support out there". I've heard much worse things numerous times from people in sports, and not to mention Love's actually correct with that statement. Right now I don't hear him complaining about the current team he has and until he actually does that, I have no reason to believe he's any worse than Howard.

Now like I said there's probably something that I haven't seen (and if you can show me these and end up proving me wrong I'll gladly admit it), but regardless, I think the only ones making a big deal out of anything right now is you.

Edit: I'm glad you didn't bother mentioning the comments the GM made about Love, saying he doesn't think Love is a "star" because of his inability to lead them to the playoffs, you honestly don't think that would piss someone off enough to make them say certain things? Come on now.

Not necessarily. Just because you make an offer to another team doesn't mean it has to be public and that you have to do something (unless said team's front office leaks like a faucet). You're just feeling out the market, seeing how other teams value certain players.

But once the public pressure is on, then the Wolves have to do something. And they'll most likely make a bad trade.

West back court: Kobe (lock), Westbrook (lock), Paul (almost a lock), Parker (almost a lock), Harden (edges out Steph Curry)

West front court: Durant (lock), Randolph (lock), Duncan (lock), Marc Gasol (lock) and then a group with...

Griffin/Aldridge/Howard/Jefferson/Gay/and Lee

I personally think Griffin (16-6) and David Lee (15-7) have done the most to contribute to winning teams. I guess Howard would have a shot at beating out Rudy Gay and Big Al Jefferson for the 12th man slot... but he hasn't locked it up, yet.

I have no problem with a GM saying that a player isn't a star until he's led the team to the playoffs. The point of playing basketball is to help your team win, not to have an off the charts PER. The fact that Loves apparently disagrees with this tells me all I need to know about his attitude going forward.

Bynum was drafted to my favorite team as a 17 year old and I was there watching him mature as a player if not as a man. Of course I defended him. Is he a moron? Absolutely. But he is a talented player and I don't think that he's a inherently bad person, I just think he's an immature idiot. And I've reiterated that for years.

I lived in Orlando when Dwight was drafted and watched him progress as one of my young favorites so he gets more of the benefit of the doubt than most players, I can admit that. But, I've openly criticized Dwight the person consistently for well over a year now, so I don't really know where you're getting this from.
