Beasley doesn't need to be the #1 man on a team or to be a chucker to have success. He is a knuckle head. He needs to be in the right environment with a coach that can get the best talent out of him. Not a Spo, Riley, Larry Brown or Thibodeau that will get him in a dog house as soon as he does something stupid.

In LA with D'Antoni and Kobe, I think he can be in a situation where he doesn't have the pressure of being the alpha dog and Kobe would keep him in check (Don't think D'Antoni can). I think Pop might be one of the only coach that can get something right out of him.


I would also add Charlie Villanueva on that list. As a rookie, he had a career high higher than Bosh (points). He is a skilled big man that can shoot the 3. In the right situation/system, I think he can be an all star.

He's putting up his best overall numbers since 2006 and the best shooting percentage of his career.

Even then, though, it's never been about the numbers with Kirilenko. He has been the glue guy that has held that team together through all the injuries and line-up inconsistency they have had this young season. He might be the best passer on their team not named Rubio. He also plays extremely well with Shved on the floor. They have that same connection that Q and Darius used to have with the Clippers or Sergio and Rudy with the Blazers. Average NBA talent who look far above average whenever they play together. That's a recipe for extracting as much value as possible from your roster.

He would probably be an improvement over Stiemsma for the Wolves off the bench. I'm in favor.
