I don't know and I don't care.
But after leaving University (Australia) I have been surprised by the money I need.
Money to buy a house (so expensive in Sydney), Money for a car, etc etc.

And that's just the things I need.
I want to travel more, I want some jet skis, I want a good house that I can decorate with cool gear. And at the same time I would like to give more money to charities or even work for one more regularly.

And this is nothing involving my views against pro athletes, I was just raised by a family that made me not think so much about the money and more about just being happy with my life, and so far it's touched on to me, same with my brothers. Now I wasn't serious about my statement about pro athletes being overpaid, but I was serious when I said that most pro athletes are money grubbing pieces of shit, because that's what a lot of them are. That's not what they started out as, but that's definitely what most of them become. But if you want to continue to claim that an extra million is a must need for someone making 50 mill a year, then go ahead, I'll just decide to ignore every idiotic thing you say until you can give me a legitimate reason for it, hell at least Hyperion gave an actual reason. I suggest you do the same.

I was just responding to the ascertain that people should take less money to play for your current team or to get less abuse from fans.

Yeah and he only gets half the pay after taxes and commission for his agent.
And if he pays for all this on his 1st year before he signs then he will have a mortgage as well, which he would have to pay interest on for his houses.

Example 30 million for house
18 million 1st year.
9 million after commission and taxes.
Thats a 21 million loan. Even if interest is 3%. That's over $600 000 a year just on interest.

Amare at the time of his conception into the Knicks world was viewed to be one of the top PFs in the league, it's just unfortunate and sad how things have turned out. Like somewhere in the original post said, Amare does not deserve the lack of chemistry him and Carmelo have on the court and his chronic back pain problems. Amare's not an idiot for taking the Knicks deal, it was honestly the wisest choice for him at the time. To be the face of a franchise, and to be the possible upstart of a potential dynasty? How can you even argue anything else..
