Utah may have given the rest of the league a bit of a blueprint on how to beat this Clipper team. If Hayward can limit Paul's effectiveness, lots of other similarly-sized wings who are more athletic can do so as well.

That second quarter is about the only time I've watched the Clippers bench fail really badly. I'd assume they've had other bad stretches, but in the games I have seen they've pretty much done the job. Usually they have been really outstanding.

Memphis did that with Allen and the Spurs with Leonard for a bit last postseason. It only works in spurts, but its obviously the best way to slow us down.

We obviously did not watch the same game. The refs bailed Paul out left and right in the 4th. Hayward forced him into bad spots where he had no choice but to force time and time again. He couldn't beat him with quickness.

That was one play. Hayward actually stayed in front of him very well for the rest of the quarter.
