Re: Los Angeles clippers best record in the NBA! contenders or pretenders?
Seems like there are a lot of people watching the Clippers this season. Why wait? Let's just get the board going full strength again. Get in there and start some thought-provoking threads.

Blake gets his 4th foul and the clippers promptly decide to feed DJ in the low post multiple times in a row. As a result Utah pulls to within one.

Re: Los Angeles Clippers best record in the NBA! Contenders or Pretenders?
And there it is. 17 in a row, perfect month of December.
Only three teams have had a perfect month of December: 1959 Celtics (15-0), 1971 Lakers (16-0), and now the 2012 Clippers (16-0). And another in the record book, related... Only three teams have had a perfect month with at least 16 games played (all three played exactly 16 games): 1971 Lakers, 1996 Spurs, and now the 2012 Clippers. |

flea333 is biting me. That is almost exactly what I said word for word during game 5 in the series thread.

In fairness, I've been seeing it from Lakers fans all over my Twitter timeline since they started looking shaky in this series. Far from an original thought over there.

Re: Los Angeles Clippers best record in the NBA! Contenders or Pretenders?
I didn't think Clippers had it in them to get to the finals or even the WCF but I legitimately thought they were a 2nd round team, like the Nuggets.
CP3 is the only one that can get this team going. BG cannot create consistently enough on his own to warrant a double team every time he touches the ball. Cut the head of the snake, CP3, and they are toast. I really wished that they had more success though because of the great season that they had. To be fair, they may have lost to a team that will make the finals. |
