Re: Today's Game Discussion [12/26/12]
Missed the Heat game working, not sure what the hell Wade was doing there. That was obvious as hell. He's done some meathead shit since the Heat became the Haet. The Collison check and that are probably the worst I've seen, but there's some other knuckleheady stuff he's been doing.
That last possession by PHX needed Yakkety Sax in the background. Amazing. What happened to Melo? |

Re: Today's Game Discussion [12/26/12]
Yup, he took out Dragic and then nailed the game winner. Thank God. The Suns keep winning too many games. Interesting fact though, the Suns have trailed by double digits in more than 20 of their games this season and are also leading the league is games decided by 3 points or less.

Bad loss by the Lakers.
But I think they will get it together. Nuggets have so many home games to go, while GSW have Bogut to come back. The fight for the 5th seed is going to be intense. Lakers just took a backward step.

Good for the lakers. If they miss the playoffs, the suns get their lotto pick.

No, I mean they get it if they don't make the playoffs.
Also, the lakers lost not because of defense but because of rebounds. The nuggets nabbed 20 offensive rebounds.

Re: Today's Game Discussion [12/26/12]
Lakers D was shit, especially with Howard out. With Nash out there, he was always ****ing up the rotations and got blown by more than a porn star.
You'd think that a guy with such high ball IQ and shitty athleticism would learn to at least be smart on D and be good in rotations. |

Re: Today's Game Discussion [12/26/12]
I've actually heard, based on statistics, his team D hasn't really hurt his teams in the past. This is his 3rd game back from a broken leg. Give him some time to learn the system. Will he turn into Gary Payton? No. Hard to expect him to come back after missing 2 months and be on a string with his teammates, though.

Re: Today's Game Discussion [12/26/12]
I think Dwight is the defensive problem on the lakers. On Orlando he could cover up for three terrible defenders and one mediocre one. He's just not moving right or jumping well. His defense is on par with amare or lee.

Re: Today's Game Discussion [12/26/12]
Lol are u kidding me? Howard is basically the only player on that lakers roster that is defending while the rest of the lakers wont help howard from the pick and rolls and howard doesnt have help if he trys for a block on the other end. Gasol is not known as a defender.

Apparently, the type of back surgery he got takes a long time to come back from. Perhaps not even before next year. Herniated discs are nothing to **** with. I'm surprised it wasn't a career ending type of injury. |
