Re: Avery Johnson fired
This is odd. Two starters (Lopez and Wallace) have been struggling with injuries and have missed a quarter of the team's games so far, while Deron Williams' wrist hasn't looked right yet. Kris Humphries looks like he's hurting inside and out, and Marshon Brooks hasn't been up to par yet either...

Re: Avery Johnson fired
Wow.
When you a white coach you get at least a whole season to **** up (Dantoni) When you a black coach your ass gets about 10 bad games before you're outta there (Mike Brown, Avery Johnson) |

Re: Avery Johnson fired
Oh, and Wallace was pissed too;
Gerald: “Guys are content with the situation we are in & I'm f------ pissed off about us losing, especially losing the way we are losing.” — Rod Boone (@rodboone) December 27, 2012 "It’s mind-boggling that we’re in the situation we’re in," Wallace continued. "As good of a team as we are, as good as started off ... you saw the potential we had as a team, and the talent we have as a team. And yet, still, instead of team, it’s more of ‘I.’ " "Our main thing is we’ve got to get back to a team concept, all for one. Offensively and defensively, when we move the ball, we execute, we take care of the ball, we make the extra pass. ... We’ve got to do everything as a team instead of relying on one guy to do this and one guy to do that."

Re: Avery Johnson fired
I see your point, but I think if anyone wanted a black coach to work out for them it was probably Brooklyn (Atlanta right behind them)

Re: Avery Johnson fired
Or maybe when you run your players into the ground in practice and then wonder why their shots are coming up short in games you shouldn't be a coach.

Re: Avery Johnson fired
If they get an offensive coach, he will start Teletovic over Humphries and this team will be off and running.
