Re: Today's Game Discussion [12/27/12]

Just for one season, we need to get Jamal Crawford and Earl Smith on the same team. Would be so much crazy fun.

Would love for these"lol at Heat fans" guys to actually watch the games from an objective point of view and tell us the refs love us. It seems like it should be true, but it's not. I'd be ever so slightly willing to attribute it to my bias, but I see neutral basketball writers all over my twitter timeline commenting on the Heat getting hosed whenever I feel like it's happening.

I think someone forgot to tell Rondo that the game is being nationally televised and Pierce that they're playing in LA.

The Heat have shot 584 free throws and our opponents have shot 584 free throws. And we're better than most of those opponents. That says a lot.

The Thunder before tonight have shot 749 to their opponents' 589.

The Heat are 13th in FTA per game, OKC 2nd. The much better FT's per field goal attempts stat Miami are #11 in the league while OKC is #2. They're barely behind LAL and that's only due to hack-a-Dwight.

Re: Today's Game Discussion [12/27/12]

Got back in time tonight to watch at burning out at 50-40.

Both teams played poorly the last 6 minutes of the half...I would say the Clippers had a real chance to blow the Celtics out before the half and couldn't do it.

This reminds of the Warriors Lakers game where the Warriors had several chances to bury the Lakers and blew their chance with the Lakers winning it in OT.

As I said a couple of days ago, if Griffin hits that outside consistently (he's much better this year at it), then you can forget it.

I think it's still weird for players to get up for the Clippers. We're all so used to them barely being a basketball team.

Re: Today's Game Discussion [12/27/12]

Kinda felt like that shouldn't have been a flagrant.

Kinda crazy they lost Harden and are still drawing fouls like.
