Yeah you're right. Doesn't seem like long ago that wasn't a flagrant though. Would've had to have been one if Blake fell on his back, which could've happened, so in the end it's the right call.

Statements like these are just never true, except maybe with Jordan's Bulls. We've seen so many teams look unstoppable for stretches of the regular season and go down in the playoffs. I see a nasty cold stretch from this bench at some point. Blake, Bledsoe, and Jordan do give them a huge ceiling, though.

Injuries is the only thing that can stop this team. They are 12 ****ing deep, for Chrissake. One guy has a bad game (as Crawford did the other night), another guy steps up.

While I can see a whole team have a bad night here and there (see Denver), I can't see this team repeatedly having bad nights.

I kinda feel like Griffin is a young Amare. So I can't comment on whether Griffin will fall in love with the jumper and app driving or defending (which is already pretty mediocre to begin with)

Be interesting to see if Doc throws in the towel here. He's got an old team with very little depth and it's not as though his chances are great. It sure seems like that'd be the strategic thing to do.

I'll be at the game on Saturday night when I see another young team (Golden State) run the Celtics off the floor as well.

Old teams like the Lakers and Celitcs just can't compete with running and gunning youth. That's all there is to it. It's a young man's game.

The Celtics really don't have a good rotation right now. Bradley might help them out, right now it looks as though Doc is going to have to run his starters into the ground to get that team into the playoffs. Being old isn't nearly as big a problem if you have depth, but they have none.

Ugh. Celtics have scored 6 points in 10 minutes of the 4th quarter.

I hate myself for putting Boston at #2 in the seeding prediction thread. They haven't been a regular season team for a few years. I just wasn't as sold on Indiana as everyone else was, and of course no one knew NY would be this good. Still think they're capable of making noise in the postseason. I could still see them beating NY if the Knicks aren't shooting out of their minds.

They're scary deep, and so hard to defend, but I think at least a couple of teams in the West can get hot enough on both ends to overcome it for a series. Durant and a steady Westbrook can outgun teams on their own. Pop could theoretically have SA playing good defense for a burst. Memphis hates them enough to possibly elicit enough out of Gay that Memphis could be a nightmare to defend. The cliche about the playoffs being a different beast is a cliche for a reason.

I don't think 15 straight wins by an average margin of 17 points constitutes a hot team.

I think it defines a dominant team.

Meanwhile, what does it mean when someone is constantly deriding one's posts while the other poster chooses not to do the same? Unrequited love, perhaps?
