Pete Maravich was more like a mixture of Sacramento Jason Williams' flair, Allen Iverson's scoring ability and explosiveness and Steve Nash's shooting range and eye-hand coordination. Also, Maravich was bringig this in a 6-foot-5 frame, so in his prime he was an extremely difficult matchup for point guards and shooting guards. Like RollWithEm said, White Chocolate was never in Pistol Pete's class in their respective primes.
