That's funny I could've sworn there was still another half of the season to go. Nice to see that you've also counted out the Lakers (even though I still don't see anyone in the West beating the Thunder).

Just because your team successfully was able to mesh superstars together doesn't mean the Lakers will to. Kobe and Lebron are not the same kind of players. Neither are Wade and Nash. Or Bosh and Howard. Plus the Heat actually had a good coach running the show and their only problems was getting the players to work well as a unit. That was the Lakers problem at first, now it's the fact that they have a crappy coach.

Yeah, but he still won games with Wade and Bosh. You'd think a team with two All-Defense members would at least be better defensively. I'm just shocked at Irving's argument that Kobe still doesn't have enough help. I thought that's why you guys got Headband.

Not sure what you mean on two fronts, one I was born and raised here and became a laker fan when the clippers were better in 1993. Two, clippers have 16 championships to go before they can claim that.

My favorite part of the game? The clippers DJ got the mic with 90 seconds to go and the lakers in the midst of their run. He said "all right clipper fans it's time to rise up! We need your help!" And was immediately drowned out by boos. He talked for another 10 seconds or so, but I couldn't hear a word he said.

If you want to abandon the lakers like you did in 2005 then just do it now.

Where the hell did you get the idea that I was making that argument?! If by more help you mean coaches as well, then yes that's what I'm saying, but only in that regard, not in terms of the players.

A basketball archivist should be a little more dispassionate about the game, anyway. If you can't see the paradigm shift, I don't know what to tell you. This team is on the downward slide, and a hell of a lot faster then even I thought they would be. One can only imagine how bad it will be year from now.

Im confused. Are you arguing that the clippers are better or more popular? Because those are two very different issues.

It doesn't matter what downslide the lakers are on. They always end up back in top. Just like in 2005 when you abandoned them, they were back in the finals 3 years later. That's why it will always be a laker town.

It's funny how you continue insult laker fans. Remember this summer when you said they were in denial because they were talking Dwight Howard trade scenarios? "Dillusuonal"... Most are down in the dumps about the team.
