Both.

It doesn't matter what downslide the lakers are on. They always end up back in top. Just like in 2005 when you abandoned them, they were back in the finals 3 years later. That's why it will always be a laker town.
Pretty sure most common-sense Laker fans would say the "top" is not 6th seed in the WC. I guess you think if you say I abandoned them enough times, that statement will actually come true.

It's funny how you continue insult laker fans. Remember this summer when you said they were in denial because they were talking Dwight Howard trade scenarios? "Dillusuonal"... Most are down in the dumps about the team.
Point out to me where I have "insulted" Laker fans, since I am one myself. Perhaps you need a refresher course in simple grammar (you obviously need one in spelling; "dillusuonal" doesn't appear anywhere in the dictionary, unless you are talking about pickles who just don't get it). If I write the term "delusional Laker fans" that means a subset of Laker fans who are delusional, not that all Laker fans are delusional. In particular, I wrote "most delusional Laker fans" which even allows for some Laker fans who are delusional who are not metaphorically suicidal.

Which may be even worse.
Up until the last two years I used to like Howard, but he's becoming unbearable. I almost feel sorry for Hawks' fans who will probably celebrate when he signs there.

Accused of amassing an 18-gun arsenal to protect his drug business, Bjorkstam is said to have defended Swift to police, describing him as a "good guy" who helped him try to collect a heroin debt but did not deal drugs himself.

"People have been ripping me off," Bjorkstam told police, according to charging papers. "Rob and I are trying to put a stop to that."

Every common sense laker fan would say that's not the top. Championships are the top. That's all that satisfy laker fans.

I don't have to say it, you did. Remember that thread you made where you said the lakers were assholes and you stopped watching basketball? It was tongue and cheek right?

Laker fans are delusional
Laker fans are drinking kool aid
Laker fans are in denial

Internet badass Ron can't tolerate people that disagree.

Maybe you should brag to drizzay about how you banned him from the laker board again.*** Over the top ***?

I wasn't aware that a big-money TV deal made the difference in regard to both popularity and winning.

Really? How are you feeling right about now? Satisfied?

It's tongue-in-cheek.

And by saying the Lakers were assholes at 11-19 and not wanting to watch that train wreck anymore isn't the same thing as "abandoning" them. I guess by your definition you also abandoned them by choosing not to watch the 4th quarter the other night. Right?

In each case, I am making the point that a subset of these fans are in these camps. I hear many Laker fans on local talk radio that are also realistic about this team.

I think 99% of the posters on this site have disagreed with me at least once. If I couldn't tolerate it, why am I still here?

It wasn't bragging, I was merely making a point to the good doctor. But you go ahead and mischaracterize it, as you do just about everything else I do.

And with that, enough of this back and forth. If you wish to discuss it further, please PM me.

Lol. So you didn't realize a big money TV deal has a lot to do with popularity? You really don't understand the business of advertising? Here's a hint: nobody is paying 3 billion dollars to televise LA kings or galaxy games.

I really can't believe you are seriously arguing that the clippers are more popular in LA. Do you leave your house?

Uh no. The lakers don't have to go 82-0 or even win a championship every year for me to be happy fan overall. That was my point, regardless of how bad the lakers do this year I'm confident their next 20 years will be more successful than the clippers.

That's not what you said, your memory is fading you. It was in the first post shaq season, you logged off for months and came back to say you stopped watching basketball because you were sick of a-holes like Kobe and shaq.

Right. These camps include anyone that disagrees with you? Were the people that talked about Howard coming to LA in denial after all Ron?

It's amazing a man that's wrong so many times continues to insist that there is something wrong with the people that don't share the same opinion.

I don't have to. It's pointless and petty, and unbecoming of an admin. Anyone that can read it can draw their own opinions. It's obvious you don't like the kid and enjoy sticking it to him.

Lol, Ron wants the first and last word. You brought my name into this thread. I'm honestly shocked you didn't pull your usual move and lock it.

Re: Today's Game Discussion [1/4/13]

You are so full of it Jamel, you really are. Anyone who has paid attention on this website knows I rarely lock threads unless I have to.

The rest of your points are not worthy of a response.

I guess I just am going to have to go back to ignoring you. So be it.

Not really. I usually ignore him, just felt like calling him on his shit tonight. Apparently he doesn't listen real well.
