NBA bloopers real
I'm sure we all enjoy watching the NBA players fail epically every now and then. So here's a video I found to showcase some of their failure (well, you know what I mean by some
).Edit: Well...some are failures, others are just the players having fun. Feel free to post some more failures that you've seen NBA players commit that might not be in this thread.

Re: NBA bloopers real
@Irving. I only watched the first minute and then stopped watching it because those were not examples of bloopers in my opinion. I don't see how it's a blooper because a player misses a dunk.
A real blooper is when Nate Robinson scored a basket in his opponents' hoop and the other team were awarded points for it. Another good example of a blooper is when a player at the free throw line is so used to clapping his teammates' hand after hitting or missing a free throw, except in this case as he routinely walked up to clap hands, he unintentionally clapped the air because his teammates never walked towards him. |

Re: NBA bloopers real
The definition of a blooper is a mistake made in a video usually by a cast or crew member. A mistake. Missing a dunk is a mistake, there for it's a blooper. And even if it wasn't a blooper (which it is), just keep watching it. Who cares if they aren't bloopers, it's still a good video to watch. It's not missed dunks the entire time.

Re: NBA bloopers real
Agreed, this has to be up there with the worst all time calls but since it didn't make much of a difference, most people don't know about it.

Re: NBA bloopers real
There is also a very impressive belly in the upper right corner of the still shot for the video. Take a look over Nate's shoulder.

I therefore wouldn't count missing a dunk as an embarrassing public blunder. Nevertheless, what's embarrassing to one person may not be as embarrassing to another. Therefore, I guess we just disagree on what truly counts as a blooper. Oh, I will try to finish watching the video at some point. Thanks : ) |

Re: NBA bloopers real
What about missing a dunk is not an "embarrassing public blunder?"
I'm astonished at this in depth discussion on what constitutes a "blooper." You're fun, JBKB. |

Well, I just don't qualify bricking a dunk as an embarrassing blunder. Now if a player airballs a dunk, then we very well have a blooper. : ) |

Re: NBA bloopers real
I would be more embaressed at missing an open dunk than anything in the NBA, since all the eyes are literally on me and it's something that should come across as easy to do to NBA players.
