As I said at the start, it is unlikely he does return to himself. But if he does, and signs with the Heat I can see them being unstoppable.

Most Suns fans want to take a shot on Oden. Really nothing to lose. I'm sure he would take minimum to get back into the league(not to mention one of the best traning staffs to jumpstart his career)

Your training staff is exactly why people have been mentioning you guys. Your track record with revitalizing ruined players is unparallelled.

He wont have to take the min. He will get a deal laced with team options that protect the Heat.

Re: Miami Heat Interested in ODEN

He's just as likely to sign with Miami as he is anywhere else. His agent (Michael Conley Sr.) was contacted the next day and told a reporter the Heat actually called him to discuss Daequan Cook (drafted by Heat, released by HOU and later picked up by CHI), and there was no mention of Greg.

Not only that, but if I have the story straight, PHX hired a guy who met with PO's FO and conducted a full assessment of Oden's body and ailments, and presented a plan to fix him. PO passed on hiring them, which he later published a "told you so" article about, and he was subsequently hired by PHX.
