Miami Heat Interested in ODEN
http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap...rested_In_Oden
If Oden can return healty, and joins the Heat the NBA (for all non Heat fans) will be absolutely pointless to watch. Wade LBJ Bosh Oden (if healthy) would be one of the greatest teams (on paper) in the History of the NBA. Teams like OKC/LAC/LAL etc wouldn't even stand a chance. I know it's a long shot that Oden would be able to return to his full potential, but if he does I really hope he decides to sign elsewhere.

I can see Oden becoming a solid backup center that shows glimpses of greatness but that's it.

Re: Miami Heat Interested in ODEN
I don't see Oden ever being the great center that we all predicted him to be when he was picked first overall, but if he can be a good solid center and can stay consistently healthy at the center position so that the heat can have Bosh back at PF, then the Heat will definitely be a dynasty.

Oh I definitely agree, but you're still probably going to win the title regardless lol

Re: Miami Heat Interested in ODEN
Would be huge for the Heat to get him. If he's a 10/10/2 kind of guy, then the Heat are good.

The guy is done. I'll gladly admit I'm wrong if that's the case. It would be nice to see him back, but after so many knee issues its pretty clear hes done.

Re: Miami Heat Interested in ODEN
He's still 24 years old, guys. 24 is easily 3 or 4 years before the prime of the vast majority of big men in this league. He could still have a long career ahead of him if he gets his injuries straightened up. He should probably sign with Phoenix - not a joke.

Re: Miami Heat Interested in ODEN
I hope for the sake of this league's future that you are wrong and that he can overcome his issues. We need more dynamic big men. I don't like it when the league is clearly dominated by wing players. I want more diversity.

Re: Miami Heat Interested in ODEN
Agreed. I'd be happy to be wrong on this one. The leagues needed more quality bigs for quite some time.
