BTW, I just want to know why Greer has all those 2nd team selections and not once broke into the 1st tier group. The fact that he doesn't have one proves he isn't the clear cut choice in this poll.

I think an argument could be made that Vince is the best player to wear this number, but Greer has had the best career out of any of these players imo.

so what's the argument for Carmelo, Tom Heinsohn, and Earl Monroe? It could've been Carmelo in the long run if he didn't change his number, considering he's in the perfect situation to put NY back on the map.

Melo didn't really have a say in changing his jersey when he went to New York.

Nah not blashphemy, but you're bringing up the points issue? They didn't have the 3 point line when Hal played, and he was a great shooter. So I don't really think you can use stats to say Vince was better.

Ya but he is one of the most annoying play-by-play guys to listen to. Unless you're a Celtics fan, biggest homer I've listened to in a while. And that my friends is why I voted for Greer.
