the whole story surrounding VC's last days drives me nuts and it's the media's fault. I bet any money Vince wanted to stay in Toronto, but it was Rob Babcock's inept managing skills that he suddenly got traded for some nobodies.

I wouldn't kid about something I was following while it all happened. It was the general idea that Vince wanted out, but in the organization's circle, he already said he wanted to remain with the Raptors. If Glen Grunwald was still the GM at the time, he would've been prudent enough to keep Vince, if not explore better proposals.


If my username wasn't modeled after Vince, he would've gotten more votes - that's for sure.

Matt, you sound like a smart guy. BUT you can't honestly believe that your username has some sort of psychological power over other posters/voters. So by your understanding, if someone with the username, lets say MJ Forever, voted for Jordan as a better player than LeBron (also 23). You think that all other voters/poster would automatically feel the need to vote for LBJ because the 1st voter had a name that depicts him as a fan of the player he voted for? I think you're giving your username a little to much credit.

And also you never responded to how you know about what was going on within the inside organizational talks regarding Vince.

That's a very bad argument when determining who's a better player.
