Re: Which group would've been the best?
my bad. I'm kinda rusty so I didn't realize I posted the thread already. I found common ground with a lot of these options because they never really succeeded and maximized their potential. It could've been due to injuries, ego, or just unfortunate situations.

Re: Which group would've been the best?
aaaaaah, I see the poll now.
The right answer should be 2002 kings but my heart is going to T-Mac and Yao (slightly over VC and T-Mac as a Canadian that always wondered what if). WTF is JO and Bosh doing there!? |

Re: Which group would've been the best?
You see the poll now because it wasn't up at first.
This is weird. Some of these are some odd choices. With some, the "unfortunate outcomes" are being old. I'll play along, though. Went with Nash/Dirk, but I'm now wondering if LeBron/Boozer was the right choice; though their primes don't match up quite right. If Nash and Dirk were teammates during their respective MVP years, I'd think they'd be a shoo-in for the Finals with a decent-enough supporting cast. Say what you will defensively, and with Dirk's rebounding, but that duo would've been absurdly difficult to stop. Would've been a lot of fun. |

Re: Which group would've been the best?
Nash
Q Rich Marion Dirk Dampier I morphed their rosters together. I don't know why. Would that lineup do work in '06? Tried to make it fair with Dampier and Richardson, but I would've loved to see Nash, Marion, and Dirk play together those years. |

Re: Which group would've been the best?
The more I think about it, how far could MVP-candidate-Boozer have taken CLE? I'd imagine he wouldn't have gotten them over the Spurs in '07, but you'd figure they'd have won a game at least, since most, if not all four, were close. Not sure what their roster would've looked like the subsequent years, and if they could've acquired Mo/West, but surely they would've improved it.

Re: Which group would've been the best?
you got a point since they were the most short-lived group in the poll.
well that's an interesting element. I wanted to refer to the situation they were in and if things could've turned out differently. Quote:
