Damnit I though I would be the independent voice who picked Barry, but yeah you are right. I would go with any of those 3 but since they Moses and Kobe already got a number I will go with Barry as well. P.S. sorry for being a dick on a different thread.

I am talking about while they wore it. I would take either Kobe or Barry while they wore those numbers.

Kobe is the better player but his 6 1/2 years with #24 are not the same as 11 years of Barry. Maybe the same but not better. In my opinion.

Kobe has not done as much in those 6.5 years as Rick Barry did in those 12. He has one more championship as the alpha dog on his team, but that's about it. Barry averaged more points, rebounds, steals, and blocks (Kobe has him by 0.3 in assists) while shooting better from the field and the line. He went to more all-star games, made more all-league first teams, and had a better PER with a lower usage rate.

Kobe's got him on career longevity, but I would take Rick Barry's years wearing 24 over Kobe's any day of the week.

Tom Chambers. Ron your anti-Suns agenda needs to stop. You guys already took the heart and soul of our team and forced him to watch Kobe do a terrible imitation of him to the point Weird Al would make a less insulting parody of Nash's play making. I don't remember where I was going with this but Tom Chambers is awesome.
