Playoff Match Up 4 (Prime Players)
One off Finals series between 8 teams in a best of 7 game format.
Teams r made up of currently active players on NBA rosters only. Lineups have been selected by the teams respective Coaches. All players r healthy and injury free for the duration of the Finals. The prime of the players career is what the draft has been based off, the peak of that players game, a currently active player example would be Rashard Lewis in his prime averaged 22.4ppg and 6.6rebs (Sonics 06-07), right now he rides the bench for the Miami Heat and plays very rarely, that does not count, Just His Prime Alternatively young players like a Paul George who has not reached his full potential yet, his "Prime" would be considered this year, 17.6ppg 7.6rebs 1.8stls which is his peak year to date, not his peak potential Match Up 4: Team 4 PG Steve Nash SG Brandon Roy SF Paul Pierce PF Amare Stoudemire C Elton Brand Bench PG Raymond Felton SG Stephen Jackson SF Danny Granger PF David West C Emeka Okefor Vs Team 8 PG Derrick Rose SG Andre Iguodala SF Kevin Durant PF Blake Griffin C Kevin Love Bench PG Rajon Rondo SG Tony Allen SF Rudy Gay PF Paul Millsap C Roy Hibbert Please Vote To Help Determine Who Advances... |

Re: Playoff Match Up 4 (Prime Players)
Snake draft with the concept of building 8 teams trying to win a one off finals series, divided into brackets then playing head to head in 7 games series, the unique part of the draft was for the players to be considered in they're respective primes, example Grant Hill's brief and fleeting prime was amazing "Hill's 1996–97 averages of 21.4 points, 9.0 rebounds, 7.3 assists and 1.8 steals per game. He became the first player since Larry Bird in 1989–90 to average 20 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists in a season" Rather than just stack numbers though i wanted the coaches to consider team chemistry and adjust their lineups for each head to head match up, then putting each series to a poll for the members of basketball forum (well respected opinions) to vote on, determining who advances and eventually wins. The voting of each series makes it a little more exciting for us, my apologies if the members find it a little tedious.
