Re: Bynum strikes again
There's no evidence to support an argument for either side. Both face steep climbs to get back to and stay at a playable state of health. Would be a stab in the dark to guess who could even get on the floor sooner.
Jamel, was half-kidding on that one, but I think they'll look for any reason besides his record and seemingly losing the team (Bynum being out could excuse most of that) to can him. Those comments he made at the start of the season about preferring to blow out his brains instead of pay mind to analytics look that much worse now. |

Re: Bynum strikes again
If Kenny Kadji gets drafted and plays in the NBA, he'll be around 33 by the time he's Bynum's NBA age. Dude's older than Durant, which blows my mind. If Durant played in the NCAA right now, teams would forfeit during warmups.

Re: Bynum strikes again
So, is he closer to Dwight Howard or Greg Oden at this point of his career.

Re: Bynum strikes again
I am constantly amused by the fact that Byron Mullens and Kosta Koufos are the OSU bigs having legit NBA careers, and Greg Oden has barely seen the floor. Even if the fact that Mullens gets the PT he does is probably the result of some form of blackmail above anything else.

EDIT: I'm not sure how to feel about Bynum missing the entire season. I've been saying for years that his knees wouldn't hold up to being a full-time featured guy and that he'd be a terrible cornerstone for a team, but I also thought that he was a worthwhile gamble for a Philly team that was treading water. Losing Iguodala for him wasn't so bad, but Vucevic has turned that trade into a disaster. Last edited by Bogg; 03-19-2013 at 05:28 AM. |
