Im a Lakers fan and I think D12 is over rated , he doesn't have a huge impact on the game like shaq used to have , or even gasol used to have.
The guy doesn't even box out on rebound , he just relays on his jump , his rebounding and D is over rated.

San Antonio has some solid roleplayers on friendly contracts in Leonard and Green, as well as some young foreigners that people seem to like in de Colon and Splitter. If you're looking at getting back either Monta Ellis or Kris Humphries - or just letting Smith walk for nothing - I could understand flipping him for a different expiring contract and one or two good role players/draft picks.

Getting Leonard is one thing, but Stephen Jackson and Splitter for Josh Smith is a pipedream.

Well, the two other strongest trades offered are overpaid veterans on two-year contracts. Like I said, San Antonio has a big expiring contract and four or so guys on small contracts who are appealing for varying reasons. Some combination of that expiring contract, those players, and draft picks may be more appealing than taking on additional financial commitments for a guy you don't really want.
