Re: Today's Game Discussion [3/7/13]
I'm sorry, but that sweep under move by Kevin Durant needs to go. It's not supposed to be a foul anymore, but the refs love blowing their whistles for him, and seemed to have grandfathered it in for him. That was just a bad one.

It is still a foul just not a shooting foul.

Loving Faried and Hill talking trash. Man, when Grant was doing Sprite commercials, Faried's moms hadn't even discovered their love for tacos yet.

Re: Today's Game Discussion [3/7/13]
Denver's shooting performance tonight is a bit of an aberration, and the Clippers are dealing with as "scheduled" a loss as it gets. Still, though, I don't think the gap between these teams is nearly as wide as many thought earlier in the season, particularly during LAC's win streak.
I'm loving the recent play of Ty Lawson. His struggles to start the season frustrated me, because I had fully bought into him being just outside the top 5 of PGs in the league prior to the season. His improvement, especially shooting jumpers, and Chandler's new-found health, could make shooting performances like these more of a regularity. I think they peak at conference finals, but they should make some noise in the postseason. At least I hope. I like Denver, they're exciting to me. Perhaps because they're sort of the antithesis of the team I root for. Makes it fun not knowing who'll step up big. |
