Re: Today's Game Discussion [3/7/13]
That was weird. I thought Ibaka put up 4 fingers after he blocked STAT, then Marv said it was his fourth block, which I figured confirmed my observation. Then on the replay you see he was wagging his finger a la Dikembe. Weird coincidental misobservation on my part.

JR Smith be hittin' them buckets before he hit dat pipe tonight!
Man, kinda rooting for the Knicks. Feels weird. OKC and SA are the Heat's direct competition for seeding right now, though. |

Clip Show with the scheduled loss tonight (teams going from the West coast to Denver on a back-to-back are 3-41 since '08). Anyone think they pull it off?

Re: Today's Game Discussion [3/7/13]
I'm really shocked at how bad OKC is playing. I watched the Lakers game where Martin couldn't get a bucket and now this game, with the other 5-8 games that I saw of OKC this year, I find that he is a huge downgrade from Harden, especially when he can't make shot, he seem to need the ball in his hands a long time in order to get into a rhythm to create shots. That's not happening with KD and WB in OKC.
Harden was more effective without the ball in his hands. OKC is not playing their game I find. Playing like this, I don't think they can make it to the finals... |

Re: Today's Game Discussion [3/7/13]
Actually Martin has been more effective off the ball. He started out the season super hot, and has hit an equally cold dry spell.
As Scott Brooks seems more and more willing to sit Perkins and go small, I think one of their main problems is the all-or-nothing nature of Westbrook. If he learns how to play smart, they're the best in the West. |
