In pretty much everyone's polls around here he's one or two, in a rare instance three, behind Garnett and Shaq.

No. Nazr Mohammed sucks. Take this from a Knicks fan, his defense is okay, his rebounding is okay, and his offense, aside from wide open layups and putbacks, is absolutely atrocious.

I think his defense sucks too. And he always pick up like 2 fouls at the start of the 1st quarter.

Personally, I just put him before the two of them because I knew that putting him as second or third would get me flamed. I wouldn't be surprised if some posters did the same.

But, damn, give him props for even getting them up. He's small enough to have every shot contested. That 39% shooting sounds terrible to the regular reader, but have you seen these NBA players lately?"

All Underrated Team
C-Brian Grant
Maybe not so underrated any more, but when he left Portland, all our hopes of a championship went with him.
PF-Kurt Thomas
Good rebounder and defender and will put in his share of points.
(I would most definately put Zach Randolph here if not for being a complete Blazer Maniac. He gets absolutly no love for being a 20 and 10 player and shooting %48. And his defense really isn't as bad as everyone lets on. IMHO)
SF-Rashard Lewis
It took me a long time to think of this one. It was either him or AK47, but I would have to say that Lewis is the bigger tallent here, and just sits around in Seattle, waiting to be traded to a good team.
SG-Joe Johnson
Even I haven't heard all that much about him, but I know he showed up to play the Blazers. He has very respectable numbers too. 16.7 points %43 shooting 4.7 Rebs 4.4 assits 1.13 steals and 2.43 TOs
PG-Jason Williams
Over hyped, then forgotten. More controled play, big reason for Grizz sucess, and of course Pau.
There it is. Comment as you will.

C: Brad Miller
Has surprised me this season, i thought he'd struggle, but actually benefited well with a good passing team.
PF: Amare Stoudemire
Well atleast he is underrated in the forums, a lot of people dont give him kudos in here.
SF: Shawn Marion/Andrei Kirilenko
Although AK47 made the all-star this year, you'd see many posters in here not even listing The Matrix in the top 5 SF in the game.. shame on yous.
SG: Ray Allen
The guy has lost a bit of respectability around here, but he certainly is a legit star. Can score, make plays and top 5 shooter in the game, all displaying polished skills and just grace.
PG: Baron Davis
Okay, some of the knock on his game is understandable, shooting too many threes, shooting too many shots etc etc etc.
But the guy is top 3 point guard defnitely, who can stop him when he fires up. Hopefully he replaces Steve Francis next season as West starting Point guard.

More than 80% of the people here still consider him a top-5 SG, with some even slotting him after Kobe and Tmac.

There's a definite reason that a lot of people on these forums underrate Amare, or just plain hate on him. Click here to find out why...

PG - Sam Cassell. He always gets left out, but he's capable of hanging with the best in the league
SG - Ray Allen. His former team mate. Also a lot better than he's given credit for.
SF - Lamar Odom. He's the best player on the heat, and he's helped turned the team around. So many ppl forget about him. Kirilenko and Marion are also good choices.
PF - Pau Gasol. He's another player that gets left out when ppl are talking about talented power forwards. Reef deserves to be here too.
C - Jamal Magloire. So he played in the all-star game. How many ppl actually remember him?

PG: Frank Williams - THis kid has been stuck n the team from hell. He came in sitting behind Charlie Ward and Howard Eisley, and there was talk that Milos Vujanic was the pg of the future. The following season he earned his spot as a starter over Charlie Ward ( long time Knick starter) and Howard Eisley, and actually looked great helping the knicks to its first 4 game winning streak in like forever, only to get sent to the bench permanently when Marbury came. ON top of the that when Wilkenks came he was burried unfairly behind Moochie. This kid has star potentail in my eyes, but cant get his break.
SG: Michael Redd - This kid is a pure shooter that can do alittle more than just shoot. He knows his role and he isnt selfish. This guy can single handley take controll of the game, and has such a good work ethic and attitude that he is only going to get better.
SF: Shawn Marion - Everyone talks about Richard Jefferson, Lamar Odom, Ron Artest, and Andrei Kirilenko, while Marion gets no credit. This guy puts up comparable numbers and better in alot of categories. He's more athleic then most other Sf's and is just way underrated imo.
PF: Pau Gasol - Gasol is one of the most underrated player in the leauge imo. This guy has led his team to being competetive in the west, and I guess because he is in memphis no one really hears much about him. If this kid was on a team like NY, Philly, LAL, or Boston he would be a star. I think he is on the brink of really having a great season and with the right help, he should get the attention and credit that he deserves.
C: Mehmet Okur - Everyone has forgotten about this guy because Sheed came in and took over, but this kid is the best center on that team imo. Okur has a really nice post up game has gets a decent amount of boards as well, all in limited minutes (22 minutes a game). I think that if he could get 30 - 35 mintues a game his numbers would go up considerabley and he would feel better about him self. I could be wrong but I definetely think that Okur is slept on.
