Golden State/Washington

Came up with this one, wanted to see what the masses think.

Golden State trades: Erick Dampier (resigned for 4 years starting at 8 million), Jason Richardson, Evan Eschmeyer

Golden State receives: Jerry Stackhouse, Christian Laettner, Brendan Haywood, #5

Washington trades: Jerry Stackhouse, Christian Laettner, Brendan Haywood, #5

Washington receives: Erick Dampier (resigned for 4 years starting at 8 million), Jason Richardson, Evan Eschmeyer

A problem brought up with this move is that Damp may not be willing to play with Arenas, who is more fond of heaving up shots than dumping the ball inside. But aside from this issue, what do you guys think? The point for the Warriors is really the #5, which is used hopefully on Biedrins and alternately on Andruiskivicius or Livingston.

I would do that easily mainly because we get rid of Stackhouse and Laettner, Ernie isn't happy with the 5th pick because he wanted the 3rd pick so I would love this trade. Its like a Golden State reunion.
Arenas
Hughes
J-Rich
Kwame
Dampier

4 out of 5 of those are from GS.

I would rather have JRich instead of Stackhouse. I wouldn't want a scorer with a bad knee who relies on agility to score. Stackhouse is someone I would be holding off on right now.

I like this trade better than the other one you proposed (Magic-Warriors-Minny). This trade would be alright if the 5th pick pans out.

Golden State isn't about to give up their pick in this trade, especially taking on Stack.

Golden State will have 2 picks (#5 & #11) after this trade. They do give up some cap space though. Haywood is a nice talent who at least can become a nice backup C.

Stack's rep has been on the decline, especially since his surgery, not to mention he plays a position that would hold their rookies back.
