It might work with money but that is about it.

Aside from the fact that Miami gets buttraped, it works.

Take out Caron, then work on it from there.

Miami could possibly look into this. Seriously.

Miami is tired of playing Grant at Center. Miami could use a good shooter and Wally has shown signs of life in the playoffs. Kandi wouldn't be THAT bad in East...

Though this brings in talent for MN, but we could use a Point Guard before we think about those guys.

Eh, I doubt that they really want to trade Caron, though. Even if they are getting Wally, he's just another big contract, and doesn't do too much else but shoot.

he doesnt only shoot now that is the thing, he is becoming a better penatrator, a little. There would be no reason at all for the wolves to do the trade without butler, he is the biggest thing the wolves get back, jones is as good as done. BUT, i would do the trade if they replace butler with their 1 and 2nd round picks

How about
Miami trades and Minnesota receives
SG Jones $43/3yrs
C Zhi Zhi $2m/1yr
2nd Round 2004 Draft Pick #54 or Rasual Butler $1m/3yrs

Minnesota trades and Miami receives
SG Szczerbiak $55m/5yrs
C Olowokandi $11m/2yrs

Change in salary
Minnesota -$20 million
Miami +$20 million

Too bad Miami would laugh in your face.

I suggest you read the Trades 101 thread. To paraphrase: any trade which you are overly happy with is likely to be entirely unrealistic. In this instance, you are giving up entirely overpaid one-dimensional players, when receiving a cheap, fairly exciting prospect and a slightly overpaid veteran who is an underrated leader. As stated earlier, you are "buttraping" Miami. So why bother even trying to propose it?
