A change that should be implented next season...
Doc Rivers is a smart guy, instead of just having a line to show the semi-circle. They should paint it a different color to make it easier on the refs.

I think they should suppress the rule of the semi circle..An offensive foul is an offensive foul...U can't change a decision for 10 cm..(if u are inside or outside the circle..) Technically is an unfair rule.

What is the rule?
Any part of your foot on the circle?
Any part INSIDE the circle?
or ENTIRELY inside the circle?
Anyway, the rule is needed or someone stands there and takes charge after charge. The rule is LESS important now that they have the defensive 3 second rule, but I still think you need it.
Or we get even LESS scoring!

As far as I know your entire body has to be outside the restricted zone, stationary, not turned in any way, and straight up.

Makes sense. Its a simple thing teams can do to a) help out guys from getting cheap fouls in the heat of the game and b) make their floor prettier.
One thing thats much more major as far as rules go though is when a player with the ball slips into someone or w/e, there's almost always a foul on either player, which stinks because it was a mishap. This would never happen, but If I were commissioner I'd institute a simple stoppage of play rule where the team controlling the ball before the accident just takes the ball out, and they set their offense back up. I hate it when I'm watching a game, and someone gets called for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
(If their is a rule like this in effect already forgive me, because I sure don't see it during games.)

i hate the flop line. the game has just sucked since its been implemented. Instead of going to dunk, guys shoot 8 foot floaters or get a charging call. theres hardly any shotblockers left in the league, everybodys just falling on the floor. i cant stand it.......
i say get rid of it, and let the floppers lay on the floor while getting dunked on. learn to block shots.

As funny as that sounds, I have to agree with this. It's no fun anymore, with everybody trying to flop. Everybody's afraid to drive in because of afraid of being called for offensive fouls, and when they do go in, the defender just flops instead of contesting the shot. Not very fun to watch at all.
