It's still too early to tell though.

Dont sell him so short, Bulls + Wade = Dynasty.

No, not really, Miami is a sure-fire home-court advantage team because of the division, and I think that gives them at least a little chance. But hey, I put Memphis ahead of them.
|
Actually, win loss record decides home court, not seeding. They may get the 3 seed due to the division, but if the 6 seed had a better record (not likely), the 6 seed would get home court. This type of thing does play a big role in the 2nd and 3rd round though. Heat will probably be a solid eastern playoff team next year, but they arent on the same level with the Pistons or Pacers yet, and Pistons/Pacers arent on the same level with the western powerhouses yet. The Heat are on par with teams like the Nuggets and Blazers, who arent even close to title contenders yet.

Teasing Phoenix fans maybe?
Sorry if I misread anything though.

One on one, even one on two, when the guy they call the Answer is on a one-way trip to the basket, you better just foul him. People can hate all day about the number of shot attempts. But, damn, give him props for even getting them up. He's small enough to have every shot contested. That 39% shooting sounds terrible to the regular reader, but have you seen these NBA players lately?"

It really is pointless to ask this question right now since I have a feeling this is going to be a highly active off-season. When you have players like McGrady, Paul Pierce, Iverson and Kobe who may be moved, the balance of power can shift instantly. Like if the Lakers retain Kobe and find somebody else decent they'll probably win. If Kobe leaves they'll probably be trash. If the Spurs land one of those aforementioned players, they'll be the favorites. There's too many "if's" at this point.

New York coming out of the East. While the Lakers coming out of the West. Lakers win again.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say the Mavs trade for some defense this offseason, and they win the title next season, but watch out for the Cavs, LeBron may develop quicker than expected. He's not supposed to win a title until 2007.
LeBron James:
2004-Rookie of the Year
2005-Makes First All-Star Team
2006-Wins MVP
2007-Wins First Championship
2008-Takes over title as best player in the NBA
2009-Surpasses Jordan as the best player of all-time
2010-Cures Cancer

I agree. The future of the NBA is J-rich, Dunleavy and lebron.
J-rich - Jordan
Dunleavy - Bird
