I agree 100% about music being subjective. I'm also fine with the fact you don't like the "depressing music" as you call it on those videos.

Now Cheers!

Re: Michael Jordan through the Era's

23AJ, thanks for yet another great Jordan memory.

To the poster who said MJ has poor ball-handling: you're crazy! Impressive moves are not nearly as important as balance and control - two areas in which Jordan was among the very best.

Mayyyyyne, when Jordan got that and 1 call over Ewing and Oakley in the 1992 Playoffs, and he started yelling at 'em, that **** gives me goosebumps everytime I watch it.

It's like he's saying "AND 1 , YOU CAN'T STOP ME!"

Re: Michael Jordan through the Era's

There's a whole freaking forum for NBA history. Move your MJ hard on over there. Jordan is the past. Let's live in the present. The present day players provide more than enough fodder.

This is like the second or third jordan thread this week. ****ing Bull****. Dude retired. Get over it.

Great player, enjoyed watching him, was my favorite player when I started watching basketball, played for my favorite team.

But at this point, I'm ****ing sick of hearing about how great he is, at the expense of players who are doing special special things on the court right now.

Jordan was better than Dr. J. DWade, Kobe, and Lebron are better than Jordan. It's progression. Kobe grew up watching and mimicing Jordan. He can do every single thing that Jordan could do on the court, probably a lot of it better than Jordan, he's a psycho. I never saw Jordan score more than 69 points. Kobe has done better than that a few times.

Kobe has had 1 scoring performance greater than 69. He could of had 2 but he was subbed out in the 4th quarter of that Dallas game. Jordan has hit the 60 mark more than Kobe.

Do you know why Jordan is considered by many as perhaps the greatest athlete ever? It's b/c he's a living legend & it will be difficult for any individual to top his accomplishments in basketball or in any sport. And no, Wade, Kobe & LeBron are not better than Jordan. Jordan is so great that he was far ahead of his era in terms of his skills & physical gifts so progression may not matter much when you compare the new players to Jordan in his prime. It may be possible that LeBron surpasses him though but he's not better than Jordan yet.

BTW, there's nothing wrong in reliving Jordan's greatness & praising him even though he's retired. When LeBron achieves as much as Jordan did, we'll all be talking about how great LeBron is when he's retired.

Same diffrence. He also had tha game against the grizzlies a few years back when he had 60 something through 3 quarters and didnt play the 4th. He's the most explosive scorer of our time. We're seeing a chucker the likes of which we may never see again.

I Felt the first Bolded Statement.

2nd Bolded Statement, Nothing. Never seen Kobe score 63 in the Playoffs, never seen Kobe have 55 Point 13 Rebound, 7 Asts , 3 Steal games in the NBA Finals against a top 50 of all time player guarding him.

And I'm not even a big Jordan fan, but I have yet to see a player better than Jordan.......LeBron, Wade, McGrady, Kobe all come close, but none are no cigar.
