Did You know?...
1- Eventhough he played 18 All star Games, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar could never get the ASG MVP Award?
2- Kurt Rambis is the leading player in career FG% during the playoffs (players with 100+ games) with a staggering .574FG% mark? (Shaq is second with .566FG%)
3- Karl Malone is the sole player to achieve 11 straight All-Nba 1st team selections? (no other player has more than 10 1st team selections for it's career)
4- Wilton Chamberlain was a league leader (different seasons) in the following categories:
- Points per game (and total points);
- Rebounds per game (and total rebounds);
- Assists per game (and total assists);
- Minutes per game (and total minutes);
- Field Goals Attempted;
- Field Goals Made;
- Field Goal Percentage;
- Free Throws attempted;
- Free Throws made;
Are there any other player who has topped 9 or more statistical categories career-wise (major categories only, not TS%/PER/Rrate/whatever)
5- 3 Pointer maniacs:
- George McCloud shot 678 3PA in 1995, a record. (good for a .379%)
- Baron Davis shot 8.73PApg in 2003, also a record. (good for a .321%)
- Record for 3PM in a season: Ray Allen's 269 in 2005
Feel free to post more stuff.

Re: Did You know?...
what is ASG, just out of curiousity? And I believe Les Salvage in the ABA is the only guy to shoot more 3 pointers than 2 pointers (and have a higher shot % with them) for the first half of the season in the first year of the ABA (people started playing him for them and he came back to reality and was pretty much through by the end of the year 9.6 2ptA v 7.6 3ptA, .355 v .319 for the year. Re: Did You know?...
Dale Ellis has the highest career ASG scoring average at 27 ppg. (seeing as he played in 1 ASG and scored 27 pts ).
2 players have won 6th man of the year twice: Ricky Pierce and Detlef Schrempf.
Hakeem Olajuwon and David Robinson are the only players in history to average 3+ blks and 2+ stls in the same season (though of course the stats have only been recorded for so long).
Random enough?
EDIT: And lets turn my last one into a trivia question.
3 players, as far as I know (we're talking NBA awards only), have an all-star game MVP and a finals MVP, but no regular season MVP. Who?

I'd say Isiah Thomas, Jerry West and Walt Frazier.
Trivia: the sole players to average 20-20 seasons are:

Got Isiah and West, but Frazier's no good. Both of his possible Finals MVP's sit in Willis's closet.

I have Wilt, Jerry Lucas, and Pettit. Are there any more?

Nate Thurmond, Elgin Baylor (19.8219rpg is good for 20 in my book).
Spencer Haywood was extremely close but, at 19.5rpg, no cigar.

Trivia:
1- How many NBA MVPs couldn't get to the playoffs the following year?
2- How many players who were the scoring champion in the regular season failed to make the playoffs the next year (since 1980)?

1. Can only think of 1. Very recent.
2. I can think of 4.
