the music was the best. I know Jordan was a big factor, but I remember how every Sunday the game was like a big family event

Man that sure as hell brought back memories...I miss the NBA on NBC Triple-Headers on Sundays...ABC's got nothing on NBC...it's a shame.
And yeah, the music was awesome.

The NBA gave the option to ABC to keep that song (I guess the rights belong to the NBA?) But ABC declined the offer and chose not to use it.
