Yeah, and Pippen was DPOY.
Come on, HAL, are you saying that you consider Pippen as a better defender than Payton, Rodman, Eaton and Mutombo?

Yes, you spelled "lion" pretty poorly.
Pippen's demeanor (sp?) is well proven. and i'm not talking about the "migraine" series.. .

No, but then Ben Wallace has more DPOY awards than Rodman and Payton. I've never put much importance in those awards. Not even All-Defense selections, and those greatly favour my argument, so it's not a convenience thing.

Absolutely. His team defense was unmatched by any perimeter player in history, he was a great on-the-ball defender and he was extremely versatile on defense.

Absolutely, as one of the best teammates and leaders. According to people like Phil Jackson, Steve Kerr, Steve Smith, Greg Anthony.

Pwned.
Leadership matters too. Special someone sits out last few seconds of huge playoff game=top 5 worst leaders in NBA history and therefore overall about 250th best player of all-time.

Steve Kerr says that Pippen was a great leader.
Kerr has a lot more credibility than you. Plus, I just learned that you're a New York Giants fan, so I've decided you must also be a New York Knicks fan, therefore a 1990s Chicago Bulls hater and thus dismissive of Pippen.

Great sig! Autobiographical?
What's this thread about anyway? Doesn't everybody know that Wilt and MJ are at the top??

Shaq has the best per-minute numbers of all time, if you include playoff games.
But he's still playing and declining rapidly. If he puts in many minutes as weak as he has been this year, he'll slip behind Michael, and then Wilt.
Wilt's playoff numbers dilute his career rates.
After Wilt, it's Duncan, Mikan, Robinson, Kareem, Karl, Hakeem, and Lebron...
