Malone, BUT Duncan may end up surpassing him when it's all said and done.

Re: Duncan is the best nba power foward ever
It's neither Duncan nor Malone. It's Bob Pettit.
1. Bob Pettit
2. Tim Duncan
3. Karl Malone
Those are the Top 3, after them there are guys like Charles Barkley, Dolph Schayes, Elvin Hayes, Kevin Garnett, Jerry Lucas, Kevin McHale, etc.

Re: Duncan is the best nba power foward ever
It's probably easier to make a list of bigs, wings, and points. Positions like PF and SG are too ambiguous IMO.
Duncan probably belongs on the list of top centers (or 7 footers if you prefer) of all time. In which case, he'd probably make the Top 10 and maybe even some people's Top 5.

I almost agree...
I have
1- Malone;
2- Petitt;
3- Duncan.
dominating in a watered-down league will do that for you...

I'll have to agree on both Malone being the best, as well as the sig being overlarge.

Pettit was more dominant than Malone. As good a scorer, and certainly a better rebounder.
Pettit also lead the '58 Hawks to an NBA title against a great Celtics team that was about to win 8 championships in a row. Pettit and the Hawks could have won 2 more, but were beaten twice by that Celtics dynasty, the greatest team ever.
I think Duncan should be ahead of Malone. Malone was a better scorer, but that's it. Duncan has still been a very good scorer, he is a better rebounder, better defensively, and has more championships and MVPs.
