Re: MDIZZ 90's fave player thread
Umm, Jordan?
A lot of people don't remember the kind of publicity that Penny was getting back when Shaq first arrived. The NBA was marketing him like he was the next Jordan of marketing.

Moved. Please use this forum for topics based on the NBA's past.

Re: MDIZZ 90's fave player thread
Other than Michael Jordan who got me into playing basketball, Scottie Pippen, Toni Kukoc, Derrick Coleman (w/ the Nets), Kenny Anderson (w/ the Nets), Tim Hardaway, Latrell Sprewell (w/ the Warriors).
Yup, my favorite team of the 90's were the Bulls, Nets, and Warriors.

Underachieving clown.
At his best, he was shooting long jumpers from the corner.
Scorer (and not a great one) who couldn't defend, rebound or pass.
Great player. Unjustified bad rep.
Great guy. Great player.
