Hakeem Olajuwon
Moses Malone
David Robinson
Alex English
Lafayette Lever
I'd like to be able to add Oscar and West, but they were just a little before my time.

manute bol is better at blocking shots than any other player is at any other thing ever.
Rodman was born to play defense (and crossdress), Stockton passes in his sleep, and Walton runs his mouth.
Bol did an outstanding job of holding his position, in order to block shots. I would love to see him in a leg press competition - he would blow Bradley away.

for context of bol's shotblocking, he blocked 8.6 shots per 48 minutes. the next closest player, since recording of blocks began, was at 5.8. a 46% difference. there's simply noone who did 1 thing better than bol did that 1 thing. rodman, stockton, anyone. noone's close.

Alright, I'll give it to ya; but he dominated by fear.
Anybody that has killed a lion with his hands, and threatened to do the same after an altercation with a teammate, demands the utmost respect.
1. Magic Johnson
2. Kobe Bryant
3. Larry Johnson (circa Charlotte Hornets, before the knee injuries)
4. Grant Hill (Piston era)
5. Glen Rice (Miami Heat days)
