My mistake on the games, I thought this was still when it was 5 game first-round series. 3-1 sounds more familiar.

Early 1990s Portland teams

I'm not sure you're talking about the same Portland teams I saw in the early 1990s -- the team that went to the Western Conference finals for three straight years and made appearances in the 1990 and 1992 NBA Finals. If anything, Portland was favored to beat Chicago in the 1992 Finals and many considered the 1990 Blazers team to be equal to Detroit heading into that matchup.

Portland was considered by many to have the best starting five in the NBA with Clyde Drexler, Terry Porter, Jerome Kersey, Buck Williams and Kevin Duckworth (who each were considered among the top 10 in the league at his respective position). Clifford Robinson was considered the steal of the 1989 draft and was one of the best sixth men in the league.

Re: Do you think Drexler is underrated?

Drexler might not be rated in some venues as top 5 SG but that was in large part in comparing him to MJ since the played pretty much during the same era. He was one of the most explosive points off the dribble of all time and a great rebounder also. By the time he came to Houston he chose his times to drive at the goal just as MJ did in his closing years. In his prime he had much more firepower than Wade and did not have to depend on going to the line 15 time a night to get his points. Also the play during his time was fairly more physical and the touch fouls were not called as often if we are going to compare FTA having anything to do with ability to drive to the basket.
