The Rockets won championships when Jordan was out for an entire season, and when Jordan only played 17 games , and were knocked out of the Eastern Confernce Playoffs by the Magic. Once the Bulls re-grouped, and Jordan had an entire season under his belt again the Bulls went on to another back to back to back three peat. Nobody ever heard of the Rockets again. coincidence ? No, the Rockets were never the team the Chicago teams from the 1st 3 peat, and 2nd 3 peat were. And Hakeem is not on MJ's level.
Video Evidence of Jordan blocking Hakeem, Dunking on sampson, and basically doing it all for the Bulls, and beating the Rockets.
You have no credibility so even if you told me Jordan was better than Tommy Burleson I'd have to check with someone who doesn't have a proven record of being wrong on nearly everything that you've ever said.
sometimes it's okay to just let players exist in their own separate bubbles, not every single player needs to be compared to every other player. Sorry but you can't compare Jordan to Hakeem, they're both all time greats in their own rights and that should be enough.
And it was always talked about that Jordan's two three-peats were broken up by the two year period so I'm not sure if you think you're revealing anything but this isn't exactly top quality analysis.

I think I missed the part where people actually cared enough about this (non) issue for there to be a thread to justify it.

All I know is the game is not played this way anymore. The game is way too physical in the halfcourt. Too much banging and seeking out contact.

I don't know. Hakeem in his 2 championship years was on a level so extremly high. I think I've read a couple places that Jordan himself said the Rockets would of been really tough for his Bulls to beat. Either way though, I think they could of took one from the Bulls.
This thread is not even worth acknowledging for anything other than how silly it is. Like Jordan personally had something to do with the Rockets not making it to the Finals after '95. If it weren't for Stockton's game 6 dagger and the refs blindless not to make a call on Malone for holding, the Rockets could very well have made it to the Finals that year.
Nobody will argue that Hakeem had a better career than Jordan, but if you think Hakeem and the Rockets at their best wouldn't stand up to Jordan's Bulls and have a shot at beating them, sure buddy, keep telling yourself that. Even your idol MJ would disagree (and has disagreed) with you.
In almost every argument you make, you manage to make people want to hate whoever you support.
