10 greatest Pacers

Who were the 10 greatest players in the history of the Pacers based SOLELY on what they did with this franchise?

Off the top of my head:

Mel Daniels
Reggie Miller
George McGinnis
Mark Jackson

Rick Smits
Jermaine O'Neal
Roger Brown
Herb Williams
Don Buse

Re: 10 greatest Pacers

I confess I have no idea who Roger Brown was.

I'd probably put Chuck Person on there over Herb Williams. Person, along with Reggie, was the fire in the belly and the public face of that franchise for a few years. He was never all-world, but the Rifleman was a big part of that great rivalry with the Celtics.

I think you mean Pacers.

Re: 10 greatest Pacers

caught me cutting and pasting. Roger Brown was the #1 scorer on the early ABA Pacer teams. Daniels was the best player but Brown was the small forward who was the go to guy in clutch time; known as "the man of a thousand moves" he averaged around 20/7/4 the first 5 years of the franchise before McGinnis came in as the main man.
