10 Greatest Cavaliers
Who were the 10 greatest players in the history of the Cleveland Cavaliers based SOLELY on what they did with this franchise?
Off the top of my head:
LeBron James
Brad Daugherty
Mark Price
Terrell Brandon
Larry Nance
World B. Free
Austin Carr
Zydrunas Ilgauskas
Roy Hinson
Hot Rod Williams

That's a pretty good list. I think I'd give Hot Rod's spot to Ron Harper.

Re: 10 Greatest Cavaliers
What did Roy Hinson ever do to be there over Harper or Hot Rod? Hell, even over Andre Miller or Shawn Kemp?

he got traded even up for Brad Daugherty, lol . . . you are absolutely right, Harper should be on there instead of Hinson.

Re: 10 Greatest Cavaliers
I can't believe Lebron is already the best Cavalier ever. We don't exactly have a storied history, but that's really amazing.
Daugherty and Price are up there, too. Pretty much the whole team in the early nineties was very good.
EDIT - I also want to give a shout out to Z for being one of the most loyal and classy guys in the entire NBA and rarely getting credit for it. His franchise loyalty has easily approached Garnett's (stuck with a 17 win team with plenty of teams wanting to have a skilled 7-2 center), but he almost never gets credit for that.

LeBron James is the first player Cleveland has had, IMO, who has shown legitimate hall of fame potential. Given his age and what he has accomplished so far, it's not inconceivable that he will be clearly the best player ever in a Cavaliers uniform.

He is not (or at least, he shouldn't be viewed as such).
Mak Price is the greatest Cavalier ever (at least, so far).

No way. Lebron has already meant much more to the Cavaliers franchise than Mark Price ever did. He led that mediocre team to the NBA Finals.

Context, young grasshopper. Lebron led a team to the Finals in a woefull Conference just to be swept.
