I still disagree with your assessment of Kirk Hinrich. Look, i'm a big fan of Kirk and I watch him all the time. I can no doubtably assure you that Kirk Hinrich possesses all the skills and talents of all those people on that list. I'm am not however saying he is at that point yet, obviously, but he can and will get to the top in due time. Kirk on the offensive side is not a superstar but he can dribble outstandingly, his passing his amazing, he can penetrate like wade, and his jumper is sick. The only thing he can't do on offense is post up, but that doesn't matter being a point guard and all. On defense Kirk is even awesomer, he is no doubt a lock down defender. One of the best man to man defenders in the perimeter that there is the nba. IMO all Kirk needs is a few more years of experience and everyone will start putting him on that list. He has showed vast improvements each year he has been in the NBA. You have to keep in mind Kirk Hinrich is young at only 23, there is much time left.
ROFLMAO

Then again, Barron has made 30 so popular so you might be right

1. Magic Johnson
2. Oscar Robertson
3. Isaiah Thomas
4. John Stockton
5. Bob Cousy
6. Steve Nash - Reason, why over Kidd is that he has won 2 MVPs, and has been top MVP candidate the last 3 years and soon 4 years.. maybe even 5 years. Was 2nd last year, and if Suns finished with most wins this year and he put the same numbers, technically he can be three time MVP.
7. Jason Kidd
8. Gary Payton
9. Walt Frazier
10. Kevin Johnson
When we are talking about career numbers, Kidd is most definitely the better PG. When you throw in the rebounding prowess and the defensive capabilities of Kidd, Nash cannot be better than Kidd. Now, people point out that Nash has 2 MVPs, and I agree that you could argue Nash is a better player in his prime (I still think Kidd is better), but career wise it's not that close. The fact that Nash became a star so late into his career makes for lower averages.

I'm also a fan of Deron Williams, who is everything you mentioned on that list and is already better and just as young/old as Hinrich. You can also include Chris Paul in the discussion, and still over Hinrich. I'd be amazed to see any of them break the list. Hinrich isn't even one of the best PGs to play now. How is he supposed to all of a sudden be in the top 10 of all-time? Stop being such a homer.
Edit: I couldn't stop there. Calling Kirk a candidate for top 10 of all time is absolutely ludicrious.
His career shooting percentage is 41. Last year he averaged 12/7. TJ Ford is better than he is, and nobody would ever breathe TJ Ford's name in serious consideration as one of the best PGs of all time.
By the way, one last thing on being an amazing, lock-down defender:
I told you, I couldn't resist. You made it too easy.

I agree with you, Kidd has had a better career.. stat wise.
But can you really see Nash declining a lot in the next 3 years. I see Nash producing 18/10 the next 3 years... whilst being top 3 in NBA MVP votes..
Okay, my top 10 is really an advance/glimpse of what the list should be in 2~3 years from now.
1. Magic Johnson - Led the Lakers to 5 titles in the 80s and won 3 MVP awards in the regular season and 3 in the Finals.
2.Isiah Thomas - Led the Pistons to two NBA titles in 1989 and 1990
3.Jason Kidd- Led the Nets to two Finals in 2002 and 2003.
4. John Stockton - Led the Jazz to multiple 50 win seasons and two trips to the Finals.
5. Kevin Johnson - Very Underated. Was the leader of the Suns before Barkley got there. Led the Suns to a upset over the Lakers in 1990 and was part of the 1993 team that got to the Finals vs the Bulls.
6.Steve Nash - 2-time MVP. Led the Mavericks and Suns to multiple 55 to 60 win seasons.
7.Gary Payton
8.Dennis Johnson
9 Tim Hardaway
10 Mark Price
i cant believe you put Payton under Nash.
Nash shouldnt even be in the top 10 all-time. period
But can you really see Nash declining a lot in the next 3 years.
I can.

I can't. In three years, he'll be 36. I can't see a point guard last that long without declining below double-double averages, especially one that relies on a run-and-gun system.
