Alvin Adams - best kept secret
Alvin Adams is a guy you don't hear enough of. As a was just a rookie, Alvan Adams helped lead the "Sunderella Suns" to their first-ever NBA Finals appearance in 1976, averaging 19 points, 9.1 rebounds and 5.6 assists a game en route. He was like 20 years old at the time.
At 6'9" 220 pound center, Alvin Adams is the greatest center to ever play for the SUNS. He had nice hops, was a good shot blocker, shooter, rebounder and assist man.
Anyways, Alvin had a real nice career with the SUNS. I don't think the SUNS had a losing record while he played. In fact, the SUNS were one of the more exciting and explosive teams during his career. He was team player and provided whatever the team needed to win.
I saw a lot of Alvin Adams and always though he should be rated higher.
Any positive thoughs would be appreciated.
