Ben Wallace, who would think in a trade that involved Grant Hill he would be the best in the deal.

He has to come to Toronto. When Vince hits the 30's, Kwame Brown and Bosh would make a 1-2 punch and they would be the 2 main guys on the Raptors. That would be an unstoppable force.

So true. Every other thing people have mentioned had some things leading up to those events. Len Bias was just too sudden.

Its been said, but I'll add a vote for Spud Webb. I mean barely 5'7" and 360 slammin and off the glass dunks. Its unheard of.

Living up to the hype = zero surprise. People hyped them up and expected them to be great, and they panned out as expected.

Biggest surprise was Danny Ferry. This guy was expected to be a superstar.

maybe obvious but true -- lebron.
who actually really really actually knew that he would be this good this fast? i mean most hated. said no way. many said yeah but it will take a few years. a couple retards said he'd be kickin *** from the get go. we all (myself included) shied away from those insane *******s. but they had the last laugh.
sad thing is if whoever they come up with as a new next lebron better deliver, because the hype machine is gonna be evern more intense next time around.
