I think it will depend on the match ups. This won't be the starting line-up I'll be putting out against every team. But I really do think that having Zo and Deke is great, especially for the kind of competition in this draft. You need to be able to plug a Hakeem Olajuwon sized leak, and I think having both of them can do that.

We do realize Zo and Deke played together at Georgetown. Zo is an undersized center, and I know from my memory that the Heat had explored in the late '90s (pre-Kidney disorder) bringing in Ewing to play center and Zo at PF. Right around the time we got Brian Grant and Eddie Jones and PJ Brown left his starting spot (maybe the same free agent summer?)). It would work, but it would be tough against certain more agile PFs who can pull Zo away from the rim.

Apologies for taking a while to make my selection. I tried to send a list to RWE earlier but my internet stopped working. I've been camping all week so the internet hasn't been too consistent but I tried my best to always check up on this. Anyways, I'm thrilled to get Chris Bosh in the last round. My bench is tough as nails with Rondo, Bowen and Laimbeer but can score as well with Houston and Bosh.

Battier may be the least awe-inspiring selection of the entire draft, and I definitely was looking at three much zippier players. But looking at my roster and at other rosters around the league, I decided I really needed a perimeter defender with size who could stroke the 3.
