Yeah, while there are a few guys whose careers I rank above Shaq's as a whole, there are very few I rank above him at his peak. And these drafts are mostly about peak play.

I'm excited to build around Bird, whose ability to rebound and pass from the 3 spot gives me a lot of flexibility in later rounds. He was easily one of the best clutch players I've ever seen, and one of the most creative, intuitive, effective open court team players I've ever seen.

Lucky you. Next time I go on a vacation I think I'll download some real game Larry Bird footage. He's always been sort of an unknown element to me. I'd be stumped if anyone asked me how good Larry Bird is compared to the other all-time greats.

Yeah, obviously Larry's great to build around. I'm pretty sure I had the 6th pick in one of these that we did years ago and I ended up with Bird.

These spots 4-8 or so are always a bit awkward to draft in for me, since I don't put too much between the guys in this range. (Better than not getting any of them though!)

Ugh despite getting two 'top 20' players, I really hate missing out on one of the top picks. Especially considering my limited knowledge of older players.

Oh and my computer just crashed so my availability might be a little less. Hopefully it doesn't effect my draft.
