This thread will be for scheduling, pools, brackets, and results only. Post all match-up commentary in the threads for each match-up.

General Conversation and Questions

Here are the final draft results. As discussed previously, we will be using Olympics-style pool play. Each team will get the opportunity to play every other team in their pool one time before the bracket gets formed. Top 2 from each pool will advance to the bracket round. In the event of a tie, total votes will be used as the tie breaker.

The match-up rules are simple but must be followed to ensure fairness to all participants. Here are the steps:

Match-up thread is created
Both GMs post their depth chart in the thread (no one else may post until this is done)
Both GMs post their write-ups
Voting and commenting by other GMs may begin (feel free to vote for your own team to win)

Why are you just bringing this up now? I have you listed as down when the first round voting ended. I see that several votes have been added since then, but there's no way to check the time stamp on votes.

I was definitely ahead when the votes ended, infact I was ahead the entire round. But ok.

Are we moving on to the next round soon? This is going pretty slow and people are starting to lose interest.

maybe we should ahve simmed these teams - we could use the ten game trial seasons and have two or three leagues over a couple months and bracket into play-offs

I thought about that, but unless I'm missing something on whatifsports, we couldn't really use the trial seasons for this league, since they limit you to a 42 million dollar cap. (Or at least it would be very different.) We could use the "dream teams" feature but then I think we'd just have to sim the games one at a time. Or did I miss something? I'm far from a whatifsports expert.

Didn't we establish long ago that we would have to open up the draft to two more rounds to do this? And hasn't the point of these Legends Leagues always been the arguments?
