I can't argue with those who are saying that this one would be close, and that KG and Duncan are a fearsome duo...I take no issue with those who argue that Vancouver would win in a squeaker, but anyone who thinks they would be heavy favorites either never saw Bird in his prime or Thompson in his prime. Reggie would get some buckets, but has little chance of staying with Skywalker, especially with Bird feeding him in the open court.

I don't know why this one is so close either.. Apparently I should have posted my individual season numbers because I think a lot of people are basing opinions just off of that... and Grizz/Sonics wouldn't have been perceived as a blowout at the very least.. The Bullets are nice.. but Howard and Rodman is destroyed by Garnett/Duncan. I feel that Chris Paul is significantly better than Derrick Rose, FWIW.

Nice to know you think my team is better but it doesn't help much if you don't vote man!

Reggie Miller definitely was not a shut down defender, but it's ridiculous how everyone thinks he was just a pilon on defence and couldn't't stop anyone. Keep in mind that when he played for the Pacers, he had to carry the team on his back for the most part and on offense would have to run all over the court to even get open for the ball because he was that damn good of a shooter. On a team like this though with so much talent, he wouldn't have to carry the load on offense and he wouldn't have to run around through pick after pick after pick to get open for the ball because of there being so many other scoring options on the team. With him using less energy on offense, obviously he would be able to use more energy on defence for once in his career.

Re: NLD: Vancouver Grizzlies vs. Washington Bullets

I really don't get this...this is absolutely stupid.

For one thing...you could put Dominique on Rodman and let prime KG defend Bird...every bit as quick and longer..

Duncan dominates Dwight in every aspect of everything...Dwight has problems with Kendrick Perkins nevermind a 2003 Duncan...

Rodman is a warrior for sure but against somebody as skilled at rebounding as Garnett..giving up 3 inches is a huge deal in this particular case..

the vision of Rondo feeding the twin towers down there or at worst dishing to the snipers this team has at SG...I just do not buy for one second that they are outscored by the Bullets...

The Grizzlies have 8 scorers...the Bullets have 3...and Any team with Duncan/KG down low is going to be an absolute powerhouse defensively...

And no..I never saw Thompson play a minute of his life..and I don't care..you're outmatched and outgunned on almost every area of a basketball court...way too lopsided for Larry Bird to magically pull this out

Your team loses this 4-1 way more than it wins 4-3
