Re: NLD: Golden State Warriors vs. Chicago Bulls
WOW this is even.
The two best defensive players holding down the fort. Dirk and Hayes would be an awesome match up offensively. King/Havelicek vs more comtempary Pierce Dumars is a wash for me. I might give the advantage to King/Havelicek until I consider the strong defence the other two can provide. And Nash's offence vs Payton's defence..... I gave it to GSW because I prefer Parish over Gasol and Aguire/Sprewell over Finley and Jones Jackson Cheeks I consider a wash.

Re: NLD: Golden State Warriors vs. Chicago Bulls
The argument could be made that this is the best defensive team in the league against the best offensive team in the league. Good match-up.

Re: NLD: Golden State Warriors vs. Chicago Bulls
I'd put Russell on Dirk, his athleticism and mobility (not to mention intensity) would make Dirk cry - Payton over Nash, Hondo over Dumars, Pierce over King, the bulls bench is a study in mediocrity (there are a few pretty good players on there but nothing great) vs Cheeks Parish Lucas is not really close and then there's Hakeem

Re: NLD: Golden State Warriors vs. Chicago Bulls
My rotation:
PG Steve Nash (35)/Maurice Cheeks (13) SG John Havlicek (35)/Latrell Sprewell (13) SF Bernard King (30)/Mark Aguirre (18) PF Dirk Nowitzki (35)/Maurice Lucas (13) C Hakeem Olajuwon (38)/Robert Parish (10) My take in this match-up: BENCH: I think my bench is significantly better than the Bulls. I got defenders in Cheeks, Sprewell and Lucas, rebounders in Lucas and Parish, and an absolute gunner in Mark Aguirre, who the Bulls don't have an answer for at the SF position. IMHO, Lucas and Parish are way above Grandmama and Gasol in the frontcourt. STARTING UNIT: Thing about the Big E, for all his amazing stats, he was a poor shooter (check his FG%) and a so-so rebounder (considering his TR% - only once over .19TR% (with the Capital Bullets (!?!?) and besides that... meh). I don't see him being a bif factor, here considering he was 6'9 and will be guarding dirk, who has more than a couple of hinches on him - and is the greatest stretch 4 in history). Russell's greatness won't be much of a factor in this match-up, considering he was no offensive menace and that Hakeem (considering offense and defense) is the more comple player (yes, i said it - but only for this league!). That leaves Glove, Dumars and Pierce, who are solid in the backcourt. But i have the best defender at those positions (Hondo), the better playmaker (Nash) and the absolute best gunner (King). I think i would win this in 6 ![]() considering this league,
