It's tough. I think this Spurs team is the best offensive unit the Duncan-era Spurs have ever put on the floor, with Parker taking his game to another level, the presence of Ginobili, Finley, Barry.

Defensively, I the twin towers were more intimidating (and they had a better defensive rating) but compared to the rest of the league, this year's Spurs were 2nd in the league, and the 99 Spurs were 1st. So there's not too much difference, compared to their respective leagues.

So I went with 2007. But it's close.

the 99 team swept the soon to be dynasty lakers, swept the favorite blazers and only lost 2 total games in the playoffs that yr. It had duncan nearing his prime and drob at the end of his prime.

07 was just so complete. Manu nearly played as good as 05 and parker really picked it up and became a star and eneterd his prime. Duncan still the same duncan of 05. Plus you add even more experince and finely so you have a championship team. Spurs only lost 4 games this whole post season and had a total record of 16-4 against AI Melo nuggets, a better suns then the 05 teams, a young jazz team and a 2nd seed east team.

05 though manu was super manu, duncan was about the same and parker was a level or 2 down. Also spurs beat a worse nuggets team and a worse suns team then the 07 ones. Spurs still get it done against a great great pistons team.

03 spurs are pretty old besides manus a rookie and Parker is like 21?. Obviously there not as good as in the later yrs. Duncan is insane almost getting a quad double in game 6 in the nba finals. They ended the laker dynasty and beat a good mavs team.

this all equals to 4 championships in 9yrs! I LOVE MY SPURS!

have you seen the spurs in the last 3 yrs? Have you seen this years suns series? You have either not watched the spurs in quite some time or you just hate the spurs. Even if the spurs are boring i'd take it if means 4 ships in 9yrs ( 3 in 5) not to mention a chance to get one more!

I voted 03 but not really sure because it had the

Duncan,Robinson,Bowen,Parker,Ginobili
Thats two MVPs an all defensive team regular a FINALS MVP and an all star.

But the 99 & 07 sides are worth considering.

True, but Manu and Parker made it into the ASG AFTER the 03 season. Infact, I think the 03 spurs were the worst of the 4.

It seems like most people agree with those rankings too, which is weird considering everyone says they're getting older and worse ever year. But when you actually think about it, they seem to be getting better and better.

The 03 team for me. They were the ones that knocked off the Lakers with Shaq, Kobe, Fisher, and Horry from getting a 4 peat. Not only did they have an effective Ginobli and Parker, they had David Robinson who could have played a few more years in the league if he wanted. Stephen Jackson was also clutch for that team just like he was for the Warriors this year. Tim Duncan was better IMO than any of those other years.

The 2003 version has one major advantage - Duncan at his very be[a]st.
While 99 was a better defensive, and 2007 was better offensive, I'll pick the '03 for the Duncan factor.
