As a Heat fan, and generally one with a positive outlook, I still have to agree

I'd like to see the Celtics play well, but I just don't see how they're going to match up on the perimeter now that Bradley's done. KG and Rondo both have a huge series, but Miami wins in five, maybe six.

So why is this thread going to get double the replies of Thunder/Spurs? Do people just not like watching the Spurs?

Has anyone ever liked the Spurs besides Spurs fans?

Miami/Boston is a much bigger rivalry these days and of course, the Heat haters are out for all of our series wishing for our demise.

Not much of a "rivalry", but should be a fun series (with Bosh, wouldn't go 6 games). Still, the Thunder/Spurs sure promise to be the series more interesting to follow.

No Spurs or Thunder fans here. Big part of the reason I wanted the Lakers to get by OKC is because I knew the WCF thread would be dead otherwise.

Re: Eastern Conference Finals: #4 Boston Celtics (0) vs. #2 Miami Heat (0)

ive liked the Spurs for a decade. When my Heat were not competing in the playoffs, they were the team i always rooted for. i love how they play. give me smart basketball and championships over style and flamboyance. Theyve been steady all along, consistent with their identity. thats a team people should look up to and not mock. Ive always wanted a Heat/Spurs Finals. perhaps this will be our chance.

First time posting in this part of the forum. Totally agree with this, except for one possibility. I think the Spurs would just out-execute the Heat as you said. But with the Thunder being so reliant on jumpshots (yeah, you Westbrook), I would give the Heat a better shot against them compared to playing the Spurs, especially if Bosh is back.

You should be sporting a Celtics avy

Now, you're just jinxing the Thunder in the other series.

Re: Eastern Conference Finals: #4 Boston Celtics (0) vs. #2 Miami Heat (0)

if allen can somehow find his shot back the celtics may have a chance. they need every bit of scoring they can get. KG has been amazing this season and seems to have overcome his knee problems. if only the big 3 can be healthy together at the same time.

miami is still an extremely flawed team but their athleticism might just negate their inability to shoot anything outside 15 feet.

Re: Eastern Conference Finals: #4 Boston Celtics (0) vs. #2 Miami Heat (0)

I'm calling it this a seven game series and a coin flip. Both teams are talented enough to beat one another. Heck Boston I believe took the regular season series 3-1 against Miami. I think Miami has been the heavy favorite all year for good reason, they have two top five players in Wade/James, and an All Star PF in Chris Bosh (Rank him where you want), and a decent supporting cast. That being said, these last four teams left in the playoffs all have a great chance at winning it all.

I think it's the Spurs to win at this point, but I think Miami has a 50/50 chance against OKC if they were to win. Spurs look pretty unstoppable right now though.

Please pick Boston.

Interesting to see the "aware of Rondo" on the Heat's bulletin board.
